1) BOOKINGS:
Bookings can be made directly or through telematic tools, including in-person reservations at the reception desk, by phone, via email, through the form available on the website www.hostalgranado.es, and through the establishment’s online booking engine. Additionally, bookings can be made indirectly through booking portals or travel agencies with which HOSTÁVILA RESTAURACIÓN, S.L. has agreements or contracts. Bookings made through third parties such as Booking.com, Expedia, Trivago, or other OTAs must be canceled through the same intermediary channel, and the terms agreed upon at the time of booking will apply. The hostel is not responsible for reservations made through portals or travel agencies that do not have a contractual agreement with the establishment.
The client must provide the required data requested by HOSTÁVILA RESTAURACIÓN, S.L. staff or through the website form. At a minimum, the following information is required: Full name of the reservation holder, contact phone number, check-in and check-out dates, credit card details, and its expiration date. These data will be processed in accordance with HOSTÁVILA RESTAURACIÓN, S.L.’s Data Protection Policy (see LEGAL NOTICE).
Bookings will be processed as long as the establishment has the necessary information, availability, and the reservation calendar is open for the requested period. Reservations are only valid once they have been formalized and confirmed in writing to the client, who may request written confirmation via email or WhatsApp once the booking is completed.
Formalization of Regular Bookings:
HOSTÁVILA RESTAURACIÓN S.L. reserves the right to unilaterally cancel any reservation not formalized by the client. Bookings can be formalized through:
- Providing credit card details: To formalize and guarantee reservations, the establishment will request the client’s credit card details (number and expiration date) via email, form, booking engine, or phone. Unless authorized by the cardholder, no advance charges will be made. However, the establishment may charge penalties in case of no-show or non-payment. HOSTÁVILA RESTAURACIÓN, S.L. will never request the security code (CVV) from the back of the card, and clients should never provide this information. The establishment reserves the right to charge a symbolic amount of less than 1 euro to verify the card’s validity, which will be refunded immediately without any costs to the client once verified. By providing credit card details, the client authorizes HOSTÁVILA RESTAURACIÓN S.L. to make the charge, as well as any charges for unpaid amounts or penalties in accordance with the cancellation policy. The client has the right to refuse to provide their credit card details and may formalize or guarantee the reservation through other accepted methods.
- Total or partial prepayment through any method accepted by the establishment (cash, bank deposit/transfer, or card payment): For bank payments, HOSTÁVILA RESTAURACIÓN, S.L. will provide the client with a bank account number for deposit or transfer payments. Clients choosing this method must send proof of payment within 24 hours via email. Total or partial payment of the reservation is accepted via credit card or cash within the limits set by current legislation. For deferred card payments, we operate with the PayGold system. The client will receive an invoice from the establishment or a fax/email confirmation acknowledging the amount paid when invoicing is not applicable until the end of the stay.
Formalization of Group and Long-Stay Bookings:
For special operations involving multiple rooms, bookings exceeding €250, or stays longer than five days, a 50% prepayment is generally required without the right to a refund, or a one-week guarantee payment deductible from the final bill. However, the client and HOSTÁVILA RESTAURACIÓN, S.L. may agree on a different procedure according to the specific conditions of the reservation. In case of discrepancies, the provisions in this document shall prevail.
2) CANCELLATION POLICY:
For FLEXIBLE RATES, the client may cancel up to 48 hours before 12:00 PM on the check-in date without any charge. If cancellation occurs beyond this period, HOSTÁVILA RESTAURACIÓN may charge the first night’s stay per reserved room and up to 50% of the booking value for long stays or group reservations. Cancellations must be communicated via phone, WhatsApp, or email and will only be effective upon confirmation from the establishment. The reserved room is available to the client from 1:00 PM on the reservation date. If the client expects to check in later than 5:00 PM, they must inform the hostel when booking. If the client has not checked in by 8:00 PM, HOSTÁVILA RESTAURACIÓN S.L. reserves the right to charge the client’s card for the full non-refundable amount in case of no-show. If the establishment cannot contact the reservation holder or the card charge fails due to the client’s fault, the reservation will be considered canceled at midnight, and the establishment may reassign the room.
Reservations under the NON-REFUNDABLE RATE are non-refundable under any circumstances.
3) RATE VALIDITY:
In general, prices correspond to the rates published on the website, the price list displayed at the establishment, and those communicated to the relevant tourism authority. Exceptionally, HOSTÁVILA RESTAURACIÓN, S.L. may adjust service prices up or down at any time without prior notice, based on demand and promotional offers. However, these modifications will not retroactively affect reservations already made and formalized before the price revision. Clients will always be informed of the room price at the time of booking, even if exceptional rates differ from the usual ones published on the website.
4) ADMISSION:
The establishment reserves the right of admission and may terminate the reservation without refund for any client who fails to comply with the internal regulations displayed in reception, as stated below. If the reservation is not voluntarily canceled, law enforcement authorities will be called.
PETS: No pets are allowed on the premises, except for assistance dogs, therapy dogs while performing their duties, and law enforcement dogs.
MINORS: Families and minors are welcome, provided they are accompanied by their mother, father, or legal guardian. Minors unaccompanied by their legal guardian must stay with an adult over 18 with written authorization from a parent or guardian, which must be signed and submitted at reception.
RIGHT OF ADMISSION:
HOSTÁVILA RESTAURACIÓN, S.L. reserves the right of admission for reasons of morality, hygiene, illness, public order, or coexistence. Access will be denied in the following cases:
- Persons visibly intoxicated by alcohol or drugs, posing a safety risk.
- Individuals with aggressive behavior threatening the safety and well-being of other guests, staff, or the premises.
- Persons refusing to provide identification, preventing proper registration as required by RD 933/2021.
- Persons attempting to enter with animals.
- Unaccompanied minors without legal guardian consent.
- Consumption of drugs inside the premises, including in rooms.
- Guests refusing to pay for their stay.
- Persons not registered at the establishment, even if accompanied by a guest.
- Any situation compromising safety, order, or guest well-being.
